The combatants are celebrating a atrocity that relief organizations suspect killed more than thousands of individuals in the African city of the Darfur city in recent weeks.

A City Severed from the Globe

Following their control of the city under encirclement for nearly two years, from the summer the paramilitary force moved to consolidate its position and blockade the leftover inhabitants.
