In a unexpected collaboration that defies usual expectations, Ubisoft has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Disclosed
According to the formal statement, "A strange confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of prohibited practices and terrifying changes resonate through the shadows." The plot presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret cult.
The questline centers on "strange tests and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Metamorphoses
The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
